Walead Mohammed Mosaad

 is an internationally recognized scholar in Islamic studies and human development whose unique blend of academic and traditional training has informed his global work as an educator and community developer. He earned his PhD in Arab and Islamic Studies from the University of Exeter, complemented by classical training at Al-Azhar University and degrees from both Rutgers University and Damascus’ Fath Islamic Seminary. His scholarly formation was further enriched through study with eminent scholars including Shaykh Ali Gomaa, Shaykh Saeed al-Bouti, and Shaykh Ahmad Taha Rayyan.

Currently serving as Chair and Scholar-in-Residence at Sabeel Community, Dr. Mosaad previously managed international educational initiatives for the Tabah Foundation, implementing projects across Belgium, Denmark and Kenya. A sought-after lecturer, he has traveled extensively through Muslim-majority regions, Europe and East Asia, delivering talks on Islamic spirituality, ethics and more.
